Founded in Fall 2020 by the Robicheau Family of Clare Nova Scotia, Le Ptit Robicheau Take Out offers everything from gourmet burgers, to gourmet poutines, fish tacos to fish and chips. Serving restaurant quality food, at a fast pace and great price.

Founding Story

Clare is known for many things, friendly people, having over 100kms of breathtaking coastline, world class seafood but one thing that was missing was a food establishment that offered gourmet burgers and gourmet poutines.

The vision was brought to life by one of the youngest Robicheau's, Shane. A second generation chef. After graduating from the Culinary Arts Program he spent time on The Culinary Team of Canada, working at restaurants all over Nova Scotia, even spending time working in Ireland. Shane decided to call Clare home again in the Spring of 2020 soon after his return he realized there was a gap in the local market for not only late night food, but also restaurant quality food, with a focus on takeout style dining.

And that ladies and gentleman, is how the concept of this Food Truck was brought to life!

MISSION.

LOCAL: One of the best attributes of the locals in Clare is that we love to support each other in this little community. Obviously it's impossible to buy every ingredient locally, but we do our best to buy as much as possible. From the seafood, some of the meat, and produce(when it's in season).

CUSTOMER SERVICE: We pride ourselves on customer service. It's as important to us as the ingredients you'll find in your food(they're really important to us!!). So with that said, coming to Le Ptit Robicheau food truck will always be a great experience!

VALUE: We get it, you work hard for every dollar you make. So we want to make sure that you get V.A.L.U.E with your meal. Despite value being one of our pillars we make sure that the food quality isn't compromised one bit! Our ingredients were all carefully selected to give us that perfect mix of "gourmet" and "bang for your buck".

ENVIRONMENT: A food truck located in a small community with a population of 8,000 isn't going to make a world of difference on a global scale when it comes to the environment, however with that said we know that every bit makes a difference. It's for this reason that we're very happy to be able to offer eco friendly take out containers, bags and cutlery.
